I wager the slave is doing well?
Lanya jumped and spun, but smiled when she saw Weshter. Yes, Master. And he was grateful to be getting a bath as well.

Trayden heaved another log onto the house, setting it in place. Emery, a blue-haired, blue eyed friend, rubbed the plaster into place.
Its coming along nicely, she stated.
Trayden grunted.
Emery frowned and looked up at him. The black bear was nearly two heads taller th

Lanya curtseyed politely as she stopped in front of the wizards desk. Weshter smiled as he stood up. You seem worried, he observed.
Well the king I mean, King Baqoure has put me in charge of a prisoner, her soft voice explained. For some reason, Weshter was the only one that she was able to make eye-contact with, other than the rest of the slaves. In fact, he preferred she look at him when s

Tighter, girl! The guard smashed his gauntleted hand against the back of the young womans head.
She winced, suppressing a cry, as she glanced up at him. Though the rain had stopped hours earlier, a thick mist was left hanging in the leaves of the Burntwood Forest. The ground was still damp, the leaves lazily dripping with the remaining moisture.

Hell, I don't care how you choose to write it-
a) it's your story, do what your heart/story tells you and
b) it's going to be grrrr (actually didn't mean to do that but fought (jesus with the typos!) I'd leave it there anyways.) grrreat.

Third person in general tends to isolate the reader from the character- where as it's easier to empathise with a character when it's in first person.

I'll see. I just hope I can get my sis to read it and see which she likes better. (MAJOR reader) And I'll get the opinion of my readers.
As for parts in first or third...wouldn't that get confusing?

Why don't you do some parts in third person, and some in first person? It can do wonders from a narrative point of view- you can then have to completely seperate situations unfold for the readr, and keep the characters oblivious to some of them- which sets up the reader for either some great "in" jokes or can be a powerful tool in building suspense.
My dear, I don't think we'd say it if we didn't mean it.

As for the link...thank you!
And I'm really not as great as you all make me out to be. However, I am going to re-write Vasha in 3rd person and see which way is better. I know I can get more description and information in if it's in 3rd person, so we'll see how I like it before I post it.

Btw, I know I really shouldn't, coz, TECHNICALLY you're kinda competetion (*pfft* Yeah, ok. I'm about as much competetion to you as a writer as the pope is a to Mohammed Ali as a boxer) but you've got a note incoming. Lookit!

Life is a poem,
It ebbs and flows.
Don't care if it pleases others,
And recall that it doesn't always rhyme.
